ABOUT
Women’s Self-Defence & Fitness – Build Confidence, Strength & Awareness
We’re excited to introduce our Women’s Self-Defence & Fitness class — a supportive, women-only environment focused on building real confidence, practical skills, and overall fitness.
This class is designed for complete beginners as well as those looking to improve their awareness, strength, and personal safety in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Led by our Head Coach, Ash Sanchez — a national and international champion, coach of the GB Martial Arts Team, and a 3rd Dan Kukkiwon black belt.
Ash is an experienced Taekwondo instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience, having coached multiple national and international medalists.
Each session focuses on:
✅ Practical self-defence techniques for real-life situations
✅ Improving fitness, strength, and coordination
✅ Building confidence and awareness
✅ Learning how to stay calm and react effectively under pressure
No experience is needed — just come along, get involved, and progress at your own pace.
A welcoming and supportive space
This is not a competitive class. The focus is on helping you feel stronger, more confident, and more capable each week.
You’ll train in a friendly, encouraging environment where everyone supports each other — whether your goal is fitness, confidence, or learning self-defence.

What to expect
Sessions are structured, progressive, and adapted to suit all levels. You’ll learn step by step, with clear guidance and no pressure.

Membership & Pricing
£30 per month
Includes one weekly women’s self-defence class
- Monthly rolling membership
- No long-term contract
- 30 days’ notice required to cancel
How payments work
Membership is charged monthly via secure online payment (Stripe).
- Payment is taken automatically each month from your sign-up date
- Your place in the class is reserved while your membership is active
- Payments continue monthly regardless of holidays or term breaks
Term structure
Classes run in line with school terms.
- There are no classes during half terms or holidays
- Your membership remains active during these periods to secure your place
Cancellations
- 30 days’ notice is required to cancel your membership
- Cancellation must be made before your next billing date
- You can cancel anytime via your payment link or by contacting us
Rejoining
If you cancel your membership and later wish to return:
- A new membership must be set up
- A new annual membership/insurance fee will apply
Membership & Insurance
All members must hold valid club membership and insurance.
- Annual membership fee: £30
- Introductory offer: £10 (limited time only)
This is arranged directly with the instructor.
Important
- Only active paying members can attend classes
- Missed classes are not refundable or transferable
- Membership secures your place in a limited-capacity class
