Poomsae are structured sequences of movements in Taekwondo that combine punches, kicks, blocks, and stances in a specific pattern. Think of them as choreographed routines that teach technique, balance, and precision.

In this class, students will:

  • Learn and practice different poomsae step by step.

  • Improve coordination, focus, and strength.

  • Develop self-discipline and confidence through mastering each form.

  • Understand the meaning behind the movements, which often reflect traditional martial arts principles.

Poomsae is an essential part of the Taekwondo syllabus and is traditionally required for students as they progress through belt levels. It helps students build a strong foundation for both sparring and self-defense, while also developing concentration and control.

Suitable for all ages and levels, beginners can start learning foundational forms, while more advanced students refine their technique and performance.
