ELROY ‘SPOONFACE’ POWELL
With a multifaceted background spanning mindfulness coaching, personal development, and voice artistry, Elroy ‘Spoonface’ Powell (Coach Spoon) brings a unique approach to self-defence training. Having overcome the challenges of high-pressure industries such as music and entertainment, he understands the importance of mental resilience and self-empowerment. His experience in mindfulness coaching, Gracie Jiu Jitsu and supporting clients with practical self-defence techniques offers a holistic training experience that fosters both physical preparedness and transferable life skills.
SESSION OVERVIEW:
This session will focus on practical self-defense techniques aimed at building confidence, awareness, and effective responses to real-world situations.
Students will learn strategies for situational awareness and breakaway techniques.

Simple sportswear is encouraged for ease of movement and to replicate casual everyday attire.
No jewellery, watches or piercing adornments.
No sparring equipment is required. Students should come with an open mind—prepared to engage in both physical and mental exercises designed to enhance their overall training.
